Santiago: In order to adapt to Society 5.0 , I think an individual should keep a pragmatic stance towards new technologies , as well as maintaining its critical thinking. I would make emphasis in AI since this is probably one of the biggest technological milestones of our era. What differentiates a human from an AI model, is having life objectives , general knowledge and adaptability to change . Thus, what makes a human irreplaceable with an AI is that an AI cannot ( or at least should not) possess the ability to think and feel like a human : Humans are the ones who take the lead, while machines allow them to increase productivity and life standards. In this way, it is important for an individual in Society 5.0 to stay competent and valuable, acquiring a wide range of skills and knowledge , in order to avoid itself to be surpassed by emerging technologies .
